Duende is Melis Çom on the harp and Flurin Mück on the drums.

The two instruments harp and percussion rarely meet in this combination. Bringing both sound worlds together is a fascinating musical challenge, which the two instrumentalists playfully tackle in their program and compositions. This creates unique
Timbres, wondrous harmonies, and strong contrasts between strings and drums. They bring influences from classical music, Turkish folk music, jazz-influenced electronic music, and their improvisations.

Melis Com She completed her master's degree in classical harp and new music at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, graduating with distinction in both programs. From 2010 to 2019, she studied and lived in Istanbul, and in 2013, she spent a year in Paris. Today, she lives and works as a freelance musician in Munich. She has performed with the Jewish Chamber Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and the Ensemble Oktopus, among others. She has performed at the Venice Biennale, at the Isarphilharmonie Munich, and has appeared as a soloist at the Munich Kammerspiele. In 2022, she received the DAAD Prize from the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts. Between 2023 and 2025, she hosted her own concert series "Harp O'Clock," presenting the harp in changing musical contexts.

Flurin Mück, born in 1992 in Basel, completed his bachelor's degree in jazz drums there. Since 2015 he has lived in Munich, where he obtained a Master of Music from the University of Music and Theater in 2017 and has been working as a freelance musician ever since. He is a permanent member of the bands Dreiviertelblut, the drum trio of Simon POPP and the children's program of Sarah (Mettenleiter) and das Nix. With various line-ups he has played at the Circus Krone Munich, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Jazzopen Stuttgart and has performed with Moop Mama, Fazer, Ami Warning, Claudia Koreck and others. In addition to his work as a live drummer, Flurin Mück regularly participates in film music recordings for movies and series as a sound generator and percussionist.
