Event details

In summer 2025, OPERA ENGIADINA will present Marius Felix Lange's family opera Schellen-Ursli, featuring local children and professional musicians, on a tour throughout the Engadin valley and into the Bregaglia valley. The renowned Berlin composer Marius Felix Lange (*1968) wrote this family opera in 2019 at the request of Theater Basel, where the work premiered on November 29 of the same year.
OPERA ENGIADINA presents the opera in an Engadin version in Romansh (translation: Lia Rumantscha). The two main child roles, Flurina and Ursli, are played by siblings Luisa and Jöri Würms from Pontresina, and Chiara Staub (Flurina) and Ambra Fanchi (Ursli) from Sent. Eleven other children from the Upper Engadin also play the "Weather Tree Quartet" and act as companions or animals, including Marietta Könz, the great-granddaughter of the Ursli poet Selina Chönz.

Admission: CHF 35.– / CHF 15.– Children and young people up to 25 (unnumbered seats)
